INSTANT READY MIX MASALA DOSE

INGREDIENT FOR MASALA DOSE MIX:
1 cup urad dal/ black gram
⅛ cup chana dal/ bengal gram, chickpea
⅛ cup toor dal / pigeon peas spilt and skinned¾ Tsp methi seeds / fenugreek seeds
3 cups rice flour
¼1Cup bombay rava / sooji / semolina
2 tsp sugar powder
2 tsp salt, or as required
1 tsp baking soda

FOR MASALA DOSE:
2 cups instant masala dosa mix (prepared)½
1cup curd / yogurt, sour
1½ cup water, adjust as required
Oil for roasting
1 cup aloo bhaji, for stuffing

INSTRUCTIONS INSTANT DOSE MIX RECIPE:

  • First of all, in a large kadai dry roast urad dal, chana dal, toor dal and methi seeds.
  • Roast them till they turn warm.
  • and then transfer to a mixer jar and make smooth powder. keep aside.
  • Furthermore, dry roast the rice flour and rava.
  • now, in a large mixing bowl transfer the roasted rice flour and rava.
  • Also add ground powder to it.
  • In addition, add sugar powder, salt and baking soda.

MASALA DOSE RECIPE FROM INSTANT MIX:

  1. In a large bowl, add 2 cups of instant masala dosa mix.
  2. Also add half cup of sour curd to it and mix well.
  3. Now add water as required
  4. In addition add water as required to get dosa batter consistency.
  5. Keep aside for 15 minutes before you start preparing dosa.
  6. Heat the griddle.
  7. Furthermore, pour a ladleful of batter and spread out in a circular motion.
  8. Add some oil on top of the dosa.
  9. Cook for 15-30 seconds
  10. Serve masala dosa hot with coconut chutney and sambar
