Add sugar to the chili and continue cooking for at least 6 hours more. Season with salt and ground black pepper before serving.

Crock Pot Sweet Potato Pork Roast

What you need:

  • 1 boneless pork roast (about 1 kilogram)
  • 4 sweet potatoes, quartered
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Season pork roast with salt and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and cook pork roast until brown on all sides. Layer a crock pot with sweet potatoes, onion and garlic then top with browned pork roast. Pour chicken broth into the pot. Cover and cook for 6 hours on low.
